In crafting this artwork, I delved deeply into the vibrant and chaotic energies of reunion and friendship. Using an abstract and semi-abstract approach with oil paints, I played with bold textures and a vivid palette to capture the emotional intensity and dynamic interplay of old friends reuniting. The layered, expressive strokes reflect the complex, overlapping nature of relationships, filled with joy, nostalgia, and the brightness of shared moments. This painting is a celebration of connection, meant to inject a lively spirit and emotional resonance into any space it inhabits.

I experiments with complex textures–created through layering various mediums–to encourage curiosity in the viewer about what lies beneath.
