Original artwork description
I was reading about ancient magic and amulets and came by "cimaruta" charm. I was fascinated by its history and especially by the deity that stands behind it - Diana. This goddess' origins are so deep, that even ancient Roman and Greek myths about her are ancestors of older times. I tried to weave the symbols of her trinity into this artwork, the symbols that were and sometimes are used to make tiny cute silver charms to protect owners from "evil eye" and grant them with luck.
Original handmade painting on a gallery wrapped cotton canvas done with palette knife. High-quality natural pigment oil painting is used. Ready to hang, does not require framing. Covered with dammar varnish to preserve color and protect from dust and moisture.
The artwork is signed on the front and I also provide a signed certificate of authenticity.
