Original artwork description
This wire sculpture of a woman holding a bird of prey started as a continuous line drawing on paper. Once you make contact with the paper you are keeping the line flowing. The completed drawing gives the effect that it could be unwound or unraveled. Rather than using multiple lines you use a single line, the line connects forms, bridging spaces between objects. Not only are outside edges described, internal shapes are also drawn. I used a single piece of wire bending it with a small pair of pliers using my one line drawing as a template.
It comes with small discreet veneer pins that you simply tap into your wall with a hammer then hang the sculpture from it.
Please be aware this sculpture is made from aluminium and needs to be handled with care, if dropped from a height it will bend out of shape.
Materials used:
Aluminium wire

- Sculpture on Other
- One of a kind artwork
- Size: 33 x 51 x 2cm
