GIRAFFE is an expressive semiabstract painting of a close up head of a giraffe.
Splashing Colors in black, white and turquoise on raw canvas.
The monochrome color in combination with the soft tone of the canvas develops has a special charm.
100 x 120 cm
This painting is one of a kind and is created by me in my studio by Hanover Germany.
I used acrylic painting and graphite. The painting is covered with a coat of varnish. Signed on the front and back.
The painting comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
The painting is ready to hang.

*** The painting GIRAFFE was created in the work series “ON THE RED LIST". The number of giraffes has fallen sharply over the past 35 years. Just under 70,000 giraffes still roam the savannas. According to the World Conservation Organization, the main causes are poaching and habitat loss. They have been on the Red List as endangered since 2016. The trade in meat, fur or other hunting trophies is now prohibited. ***
