This is a completely unique and original abstract oil painting on an irregularly shaped piece of recycled wood. This painting is dynamic and unique in its structure and movement. It is emotionally charged and is the newest in a series of exciting works that epitomize certain techniques and an aesthetic I have been working to perfect over the years. The colors are vibrant and alive and the texture is highly tactile and almost edible. This piece is bold and vibrant and the patterns are dynamic, leading the eye all across the surface of the painting. The streaking colors mix and overlap on the surface juxtaposed and framed by the orderly contained units of defined colors, to create a beautiful play of form and movement. Waves of texture exist sporadically on the surface to give added depth and texture. This painting is a wonderful mess and containment of colors, vibrancy, texture and form. The surface shines and bursts with vibrant color and is an original and emotional oil painting and series like no other.
