Point Lobos is famously known for its emerald luminous water. I often set up my plein air easel in the area, working to catch the golden light and its effects on the water, later using my plein air studies in the studio as a reference.
Materials:
Oil on oil-primed stretched Centurion DLX linen canvas. Painting surface is protected with a coat of Gamvar varnish.
The painting is unframed, wired in the back on stretcher bars, and ready to hang.
