This small oil painting "Gentle Landscape" is by artist Mary Kemp.
Some landscapes seem more gentle, more harmonious, than others. Perhaps it depends on the weather or the time year or day. What ever the reason I painted this in quite a gentle frame of mind too.
Materials: Oil paints on cradled panel.
Dimensions: 6" x 6" x 0.75" (15 x 15 x 1.7cm)
Framing: Unframed, but the sides are painted so it is ready to hang, or display it on a shelf. (The easel is not included)
There's something quite satisfying about a small oil painting.
They can brighten up a small corner, make beautiful gifts and they are a wonderful way of getting into collecting original art.
