The "Genesis of Belonging" series explores themes of migration, continuity, and collective civic space through a structured system of material repair. Using mixed medium, gold leaf, and hand-stitched freshwater pearls as physical and conceptual binding agents, the work maps fractured ground and topographic lines to visualize how individual journeys converge to reweave the social fabric in a new homeland.

The Craft Mastered through years of experimentation, this work is created using a specialized mixed medium technique. I sculpt with quartz sand and minerals gathered from across the globe, embedding the physical earth into the relief. The result is a "Texture without the Weight"—a massive, stone-like statement piece that possesses the presence of a mountain but the lightness required for easy installation on standard walls.

Medium: Professional-grade mixed medium, quartz sand, and earth pigments.

Finish: Matte/Satin archival UV protection to ensure longevity.

The Mission My art is a tool for advocacy. Born from a journey of survival and rebuilding, my practice empowers women to see their own strength reflected in the enduring beauty of the earth. To honor the source of my inspiration, a portion of every sale is donated to Ocean Conservation initiatives, turning your investment in art into a direct contribution to the restoration of our planet.

💬 Collector Reviews (Verified feedback):

⭐ “The texture is incredible—it’s like having a piece of the ocean floor right in my living room. I find myself wanting to reach out and touch it every time I pass by.” — Sarah M.

⭐ “Much more than a painting; it’s a 3D landscape. The way the shadows move across the ridges as the light changes throughout the day is mesmerizing.” — James L.

⭐ “Photos simply don’t do the depth justice. Seeing the minerals and sands embedded in the work makes it feel so raw, grounded, and powerful.”
