This artwork “Gardens of Babylon no.2” is a large 94 cm x 120 cm (+ 3 cm around border for stretching) , acrylic paint on high-quality canvas, 2026, this is a unique, hand painted artwork. Glossy Varnished.
Gardens of Babylon is an imagined landscape—lush, excessive, and suspended between memory and myth. Inspired by the legend of the Hanging Gardens, the painting unfolds as a dense, overflowing field of color and texture, where forms seem to bloom, dissolve, and reappear in constant motion.
Layers of paint are built instinctively, creating a sense of abundance that borders on chaos. Thick, gestural marks evoke vegetation, blossoms, and organic growth, while the interplay of light tones against deeper hues suggests a space that is both grounded and floating. The surface becomes a living terrain—vibrant, unstable, and endlessly evolving.
Rather than reconstructing a lost wonder, Gardens of Babylon seeks to capture the idea of it: a place of impossible beauty, excess, and imagination, where nature and myth merge into a single, immersive experience.

The artwork will be shipped as a rolled, unstretched canvas for safe delivery. Packaged in tube box and wrapped properly.
Rolled works can be easily stretched (for canvas works, i.e. placed onto wooden stretcher bars) and/or framed by a local framer upon arrival completely normal for rolled canvas. Minor waves or creases may be visible upon arrival, which is completely normal for rolled canvas. These will disappear once the canvas is stretched or framed by a professional framer.
All my shipments will be made through DPD, GLS or a similar company , always trying to guarantee the safety, care and efficient delivery of the work. However, delays that may occur in the case of goods are beyond my control; I will always be attentive to tracking the shipment and any incident that may arise, being at the customer's disposal to provide appropriate assistance and support.
