The works are original shots by artist Mattia Paoli. The photos are of Italian sculptures from the pre- and post-Renaissance periods.
The photos are edited with new color calibrations. The artist's idea is to create "new identities" to the faces of the sculptures by changing the chromatic point of view of reality.
The collection is inspired by Andy Warhol's serial art of celebrity portraits.
