Original artwork description:

Another one from the Mass Shootings Weapons series of my signatory Spirits Of Skies Collection.

This one comes in mostly red tones, including neon red, with black and copper (what appears as brown in the pictures without light reflection; see also detail images with light reflection) against a distant appearing background of an abstracted beach with an airy feel. Enjoy!

This one, as are also "AR-15" or "TEC-DC9" or "SS MCX" (see porfolio), is an abstraction and memorial of one of the horrible mass shootings that unfortunaltely way too frequently occur in the US. It's the contrast between the sickening use of a weapon to kill innocents and the peaceful place these shootings occur, where the victims should feel safe and secure and happy. A Glock 19 and Walther P22 were the weapons used at the massacre at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg in 2007.

Unique painting with a signatory style that is unique in the art world, using high-quality acrylic colors on professional gallery canvas stretched over solid wooden 4.5 x 3.0 cm stretcher bars (painting depth: 3 cm); canvas is stapled on the back.
Glossy varnish is applied to seal and protect the painting, and to make the colors appear even more lively.
Sides are painted, thus no frame necessary – the painting is ready-to-hang with a hanging wire attached.
Signed on the front and back.
Comes with Certificate of Authenticity.

Please note: In-context images are for display purposes and do not necessarily show the artwork to scale. Refer to the dimensions section for the actual size of the painting. If you would like to see how this painting would look at your wall, just send me a photo of the wall/room and I can "photoshop" it onto the wall (approximately to scale of course), at no cost and without any obligation.

Materials used:

Acylics on canvas, glossy varnish
