Original artwork description
With the development of global systems for observing modern life, a new dream is gradually taking shape — the dream of a private and truly anonymous existence. In a world where every step can be recorded, stored, and analyzed, invisibility becomes a rare luxury.
The digital environment has turned everyday life into a continuous stream of data, images, and signals. Personal moments no longer belong only to us — they are documented and increasingly become part of the public space.
The number of ways to collect and analyze this data keeps growing: from facial recognition and fingerprints to identification by the iris. In this system, a person becomes both the lock and the key.
The boundary between the personal and the controlled is slowly disappearing, and privacy is turning into a fragile value. The painting “Total Control” reflects and explores this very theme.
