From the moment that the danger of frost passes till the first show of fruit beginning to redden. I wait all spring and half of the summer for this first ripe tomato. I have tended them, watered them and weeded them all this time. It is hard work in the heat of a North Dakota summer but the bountiful harvest of the Fruits of Labor is the sweetest reward.

Fruits of Labor is 16 x 12 inches on stretched canvas. It is gallery wrapped, wired and ready to hang.
