This semi-abstract mountain-inspired oil painting was created using my original inverse monotype technique — an author-developed process that allows me to build up rich layers of oil paint, resulting in bold textures and vibrant depth.

This piece captures the mystical atmosphere of high mountains under the fading light. Deep blues, icy whites, and flashes of fiery crimson suggest the last glow of sunset illuminating the rugged peaks. Depending on lighting and the viewer's imagination, the artwork transforms and feels alive — like nature captured in motion.

This painting can stand alone or be paired with its companion piece (Frozen Peaks of Dawn) to form a diptych for a more expansive and immersive visual experience.
