A painting created through free improvisation with music by Midlake, especially the theme "Roscoe," which plays on loop during the final phase of the work's execution, with some of its verses incorporated into the painting.

A story of the past and the present. The unknown, what slips through our fingers... Nature, antiquity, the earthly and the spiritual.

We believe ourselves to be Gods, but we are just monkeys who have grown up.

Gestural, intuitive painting that lets things happen and draws on what appears. Taking advantage of the accident and accepting the consequences.

The need to tell stories, to leave a mark, to understand the world, which is always modern and ancient.

Materials used:

acrylic, gesso, pigments, charcoal, wax, graphite
