This artwork grows out of long walks through changing seasons. A wild meadow shifts from soft, pale yellow light into brighter summer tones, marking the move from spring into warm summer days. Daisies, echinacea, and scattered meadow flowers appear and fade as the colours deepen. Thick oil paint is worked firmly into the surface; impasto and grainy, cracked textures break through the background, leaving hints of hidden flowers beneath. The paint carries movement, weather, and time — less a single view, more a journey through the season itself.

After re-stretching on a 2 cm deep gallery canvas: 100 × 150 cm
About the Artwork:
Photographs cannot fully capture the depth of the sculptural paint textures. In person, the artwork shows richer tonal shifts and subtle blue shades that are stronger than seen on screen.

-Protected with a UV varnish
-Edges painted as part of the composition
-Suitable for display with or without framing
Shipping-
To ensure safe and affordable international delivery, the painting will be professionally rolled and shipped in an art mailing tube. Re-stretching by a local framer is simple and far more economical than shipping a large stretched canvas.
