In this painting, I continue my exploration of contemporary still life through a combination of interplay of color and expressive lines. At the center of the composition are sunflowers and gerberas in a rounded vase. Their vibrant yellow, pink, and red hues are enhanced by the play of bold brushstrokes and dynamic lines against a contrasting background.
In my works, I use acrylic in various states: liquid washes, transparent layers, and textured impasto. Combined with expressive lines, this allows me to convey not only the form of the flowers but also their vitality, rhythm, and the flowing nature of light.
The result is a dialogue between structure and spontaneity, where the subject dissolves into movement and energy.
