The sun was to my back as I painted this live, en plein air, one gorgeous summer day at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC. Something about the shadows on that tree to the left drew my attention, which then moved to the French Broad Rivers depth and colors.
This is print #1 out of 75. It is professionally framed in a double matt, white on the outside with a silver inset.
