Original artwork description
The flowers appear almost as fragments — some clearly visible, others only suggested by a line, a wash of color or an unfinished shape. Greens and blues gather and flow through the composition, while delicate pinks seem to hover within the open space.
This work is less about depicting a bouquet than about what remains when detail is taken away. Form appears and disappears, allowing the eye to move between what is painted and what is only imagined. The empty paper becomes part of the image — a space in which the flowers can continue beyond their visible form.
