Original artwork description:

I am gradually working my way round the Cornish section of the Southwest Coastal Footpath with my little black dog. I take sketches and photos as I go to work on back in the studio. This painting was completed after an autumnal walk in North Cornwall near Widemouth beach. I was taken with the beautiful copper tones and so I under painted using a copper coloured lacquer and then continued with acrylic on top. Every now and then you'll catch a hint of the copper shining through.
