Original artwork description
Cute, unusual creature with dishevelled hair, a kind of desert fox (fennec) with large, black-tipped ears. The word ‘baluches’ was invented to describe the very bushy moustache-like whisker pads, while the name ‘baluche’ means ‘clumsy’.)
He belongs to the Loufoques series in felted wool.
Sitting up with big ears, he has small black eyes like all small desert foxes, and a big bushy tail.
It's made from 100% natural materials: organic wool from black-headed Manech ewes, reared in the open air on a certified organic farm under the Nature & Progrès label, and Tyrolean wool from mountain sheep. The wool has been washed and carded, then patiently shaped and felted with a hand needle, leaving bushy areas such as the tail and baluches free on purpose.
Unique and artistic, this creation is not suitable for children to handle.
