A bright sunny day at Fountain's Abbey in Yorkshire, with a statue of Neptune sitting aloft the waterlilies.
It is painted in a traditional impressionist manner, and left to dry for a year before being varnished. The oil painting was made on canvasboard (canvas attached to board).
