A lace and silk nightdress in the fresh morning light, beautifully draped over a simple pine chair. The viewer is left to imagine what the underlying story is and for whose eyes the scene is meant . . .
The painting is left white on the sides and is ready to hang. It is suitable to be framed if preferred. Varnished with a silk finish, it is initialed on the front and signed on the back along with the title.
