This is an impressionistic painting of a stone barn in the Yorkshire Dales. I love the colours of the landscape in the Dales. This painting was inspired by a walk near Muker. The Swale runs through the valley floor and dry stone walls, and weather beaten trees are dotted about. I have tried to capture the warm tones of an Autumn day or perhaps Late Summer.
The painting is framed and ready to hang. It is in a white wooden frame with good quality acrylic instead of glass for safe transport.
