I began this painting Plein air during a period of intense warmth during January. Lots of rain has turned the grasses many shades of green with an abundance of sunshine and light. The stream flows through the piece to radiate a peaceful atmosphere of sound. Warm blossoms fill the canvas with a sense of fresh air.
