Original artwork description:

Painted on-site at the MN Landscape Arboretum, with finishing work done at the artist's home in Minneapolis. Features a large oak tree in full autumn color, whose branches touch the ground and flow along the side of a hill. The foliage includes shades of brilliant red and orange and rust orange, with dark burgundy shadows and bright yellow highlights from the sunlight behind it. The woods behind it can also be seen at either side of the tree.

Painted in watercolor on paper. A product call "watercolor ground" has been added to build up thickness on the paper in key areas, which enhances the texture of the foliage.

This item is sold unframed, packaged between sheets of supportive foam board. It will fit in any standard 18x24" frame, or may be matted to fit in a larger size frame.
