“Flowers of Saint Anthony” is a sculptural “still-life” comprised of glazed ceramic elements and a handful of intriguing stones I collected off the beaches of England. The heavily glazed twigs balance delicately from a narrow base of polished green serpentine. There is a subtle interplay between the surface detail of the stones and the ceramic elements. It is an intimate construction that reflects elegance with a modern sensibility.
