This still-life with autumn flowers is almost abstract. I worked in my personal expressive style with rich texture, bold brushstrokes, and sense of motion. Through applying of multiple layers of thick paint I wanted to create a feeling of completeness and materiality of the visible object. This artwork has no details. It expresses a generalized image of the autumn mood.
