This artwork combines traditional Ukrainian ornamental motifs with a modern color palette. Rich golden flowers bloom against a teal background, creating a luminous and elegant composition.

This artwork is a reinterpretation of the works of the famous Ukrainian modernist Paraska Vlasenko, created as a tribute to history and folk art. By reimagining her motifs in watercolor with a contemporary touch, I aim to preserve cultural memory while giving it new life in a modern interior context. The golden floral forms symbolize resilience, beauty, and the continuity of tradition, bridging the past and present.

This painting was exhibited in March 2024 at the National Museum of Decorative Arts of Ukraine and proudly received the Grand Prix in the textile print competition in Ukrainian modern style. It is not only an artwork but also a celebrated cultural statement.

Created with professional-grade watercolor and gouache on thick archival paper, I combined precise ornamental details with flowing brushwork. The result is a vibrant yet delicate composition, ideal both for private collections and as a design centerpiece.
