Flourishing is an acrylic painting on an 11"x14" canvas sheet. I love to create abstracted artwork not based on any particular reference image, but by leading with my emotions and seeing where the painting will lead me. This particular painting was challenging me and just about when I gave up, it started to come alive and 'flourish'.
