Original artwork description
This is a large canvas painting in a white wooden float frame.
The painting is inspired by a trip to Lantic Bay on the south coast of Cornwall. I have used plenty of artistic licence in an aim to capture the beauty of such a wonderful place. When we visited we had the whole beach to ourselves, its a steep walk down through wild flowers and seedheads. The beach curves around between cliffs and the only sounds we could hear was the crashing of the waves and the cry of a lone gull.
The painting is colourful and joyful and is painted with bold brushstrokes to give an impressionistic feel to the work.
It is all ready to hang.
