Original artwork description
"Flash" was created in the spring of 2022, at the very beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
This abstract work captures an intense inner reaction to fear, shock, and the overwhelming reality of war. Sudden bursts of color and sharp contrasts resemble flashes of memory and emotion, appearing and disappearing in an unstable space. Through abstraction, painting became a way to process these experiences and transform fear into a form of inner resistance and survival.

- Size: 60 x 90 x 2cm (unframed)
