fissure 6-10-20 is exploring ideas of ‘fiction & reality’ and is a larger scale multiple figure studies on canvas in oils using a muted palette contrasting with areas of vibrant colour. The work is painted with a fluid application of paint, staining and stripping back to allow areas of raw canvas to be visible. The work is a continuation in his interest in the notion of change and impermanence as forms begin to overlap and dissolve into each other.
Artwork signed on the back and includes a certificate of authenticity.
