This diptych is made up of two canvases, the first one measuring 100x100x3.5 cm, and the second one measuring 70x100x3.5 cm, which can be hung on the wall closely together, slightly spaced apart, or even at a distance. The color palette is lively, showcasing shades of burgundy, blue, and yellow to express sentiments of joy and serenity. The blooming branch carries an Eastern influence, likely stemming from my profound affection for Japan and haiku poetry, one of which served as the inspiration for the title of the exhibition hosted at the Museum of San Salvatore in Lauro in March 2022. It serves as a unifying element connecting a prior project with the current one. The process comprises two distinctive phases. The initial stage involves the application of paint to the canvases to achieve the desired fluidity while blending the three colors harmoniously. The subsequent phase entails the selection of an appropriate subject.

Materials used:

Acrylic, enamel and resin
