figures 10-25-21 figures 10-25-21is exploring ideas of fiction & reality and is a large-scale multiple figure studies on canvas in oils using a muted palette contrasting with areas of vibrant colour. The work is painted with a fluid application of paint, staining and stripping back to allow areas of raw canvas to be visible. The work is a continuation in his interest in the notion of change and impermanence as forms begin to overlap and dissolve into each other.
