figure in black dress 1-4-21 is a female figure study on canvas in oils using a muted palette contrasting with areas of vibrant colour. The work is painted with a fluid application of paint, staining and stripping back to allow areas of raw canvas to be visible. The work is a continuation of his interest in the notion of change and impermanence as the figure begins to dissolve into the background.
The work is titled and signed on the front and also comes with a certificate of authenticity.
The work will be shipped by DHL, rolled in a strong tube and should arrive within 3-4 days after dispatch.
