The way the model has done their hair and holds the pose sometimes suggests the way to undertake a study. Here I was getting a fifties vibe. Using the side of the square conte I swept the figures onto the paper.

I regularly go to open sessions with a life model is great to improve observation skills. Looking intently at the bone structure, tendons and muscles sharpens the ability to notice how they work. It's a great way of sharing the costs of a model, ideas, feedback and what's going on in the world of art.
