Field of Green is an original abstract painting by Suzanne Vaughan. An abstract expressionist style painting with layers of paint in shades of soothing vibrant greens capturing the calming essence of nature.
Thick paint is applied to the canvas in free gestural marks with palette knives and other tools to create a dynamic textured surface. With multiple applications each layer interacts with the previous building a complex texture suggestive of natural organic elements.

Painted on a piece of canvas with an extra 4 inches around the 40” x 40” painting which allows for many framing options such as a floater frame or stretching onto a gallery wrap frame. When stretched onto a gallery wrap frame the painting will extend around the sides.
