Mid to late summer in the Midwest meets the eye with fields of purple blue. Flax fields, bold and beautiful in the early morning sun. These tiny little flowers fade before mid morning. The vibrant blue/purple fields are a treat for the morning person. In North Dakota they are everywhere. It is one of my favorite things to see. Especially when flax is planted next to canola. The purples and yellows complement the greens of the trees and grasses around them.
Fields of Flax is 14 x 24 inches on stretched canvas. It is gallery wrapped, wired and ready to hang. Comes with a certificate of authenticity.
