This painting is a response to the wonderful Heartwood Forest in Hertfordshire. Long before the newly planted trees had reached their stride, vast areas of the park were filled with wild flowers. Cow parsley went wild around the area at the very top of the park where the little path meets to the bridleway.
The painting could be depicting many other places around the UK where in late Spring it pops up everywhere creating a frothy white and green sea of fresh growth to tell us that Summer is not far away.
The painting is impressionist in style and framed in a pale grey frame ready to hang. Please note that the glazing is high quality acrylic glazing for safe transport.
