Original artwork description
A simple still life - two large field mushrooms found at a farmer's market, these just had to be painted before they were eaten. Placed in a pool of light cast by sunlight through a small skylight, these were painted with thin layers overlaid by a buttery impasto.
The artwork will be framed in a simple black wooden moulding.
