I took my plein air group to the Yuba River early this spring to paint. It was a glorious day for capturing the sun light on the water. In this painting I captured the first greens of spring giving a warmth glow to the teal, soft greens of the river that cascades over the rocks. In the distance the broad waterfall opens through the large river rocks toward a large pool.
