“Falling” features a triptych of vertical forms rendered in black and white, each with a distinct texture and presence. The left and right panels present thick, irregular black brushstrokes with a textured, almost eroded quality, revealing the white background through varying densities and roughness. The central panel contrasts these with a strong, solid black vertical shape, interrupted only by a jagged white cleft running down the middle, giving a sense of tension and division. Overall, the piece creates a stark interplay between solidity and fragmentation, utilizing monochrome to emphasize form and texture.

The use of black and white in such a bold, graphic manner effectively communicates a raw, almost primal emotion. The textural contrast between the softer, more organic edges of the side panels and the rigid, interrupted central column adds a compelling dynamism to the piece.
