Painting worked from free improvisation. Action painting with music by Smashing Pumpkins.
The work starts from the drawing of some pomegranates fallen from the pomegranate tree at home. From there, a gestural and intuitive painting develops that generates marks and spots of color that little by little consolidate. Plants, symbols, numbers, hands appear...
The unknown, what slips through our fingers... Nature, antiquity, the earthly and the spiritual.
Need to tell things, to leave a mark, to understand the world, which is always modern and ancient.
Nothing matters much... Working with a lost gaze...
