This original watercolor bird painting depicts crows perched on a wreath of thorns surrounding a bright sunflower. The contemporary watercolor artwork combines symbolic bird imagery, expressive composition, and delicate botanical elements to explore resilience and hope.

Dark silhouettes of crows create tension and movement, while the sunflower at the center becomes a quiet symbol of faith growing despite adversity. Painted with transparent watercolor layers on paper, the work reflects the contrast between fragility and strength, inviting collectors to discover a narrative of endurance, inner light, and emotional balance within nature.

To my great joy and pride, in July 2023, I took part in the international watercolor festival Freedom Ukraine 2023, which also involved more than 300 artists from 42 countries and I passed the short list of selected artists!
