"Face Off Series" - Original PMS Abstract Oil Painting On Canvas - 36" x 30" (2017) Original Oil Painting by Preston M. Smith (PMS)

This diptych consists of two unique and original PMS abstract geometrical oil paintings. They were painted with my own personal mantra in mind: Beauty, Color and Texture. These paintings are unique in their layer upon layer of color, texture and messy geometrical abstract designs. They are very tactile paintings with striped patterns and symbols. As I was painting them, structures and patterns began to evolve and appear as colors jump out at you, while others fade into the background with a nice juxtaposition of smoothness and texture. The streaking colors have almost a comic book style quality to them with makes the colors pop even more out at the viewer. This is a truly unique abstract geometrical diptych like no other.

Note: These paintings are painted on canvas and are not framed, but come hang ready with the sides painted black. Framing is unnecessary, but up to the preference of the collector.

These paintings are signed on the front and includes my Certificate of Authenticity.
