Original artwork description
(Sept. 2023) 36 x 48 x 1.5 inches. Unframed painting. Ready to hang-sides will be painted to match painting. (11 layers) Gallery Wrapped Cotton Canvas. Textured/Layered Abstract Painting. Painted with palette knives. The painting's focus-as with many of my paintings are on the center. In this case with this canvas I have changed the center of attention from the middle by creating a bold Orange Gold Box which is off center. I have used Gold and Orange for this bold palette application for the eye to capture first and then I have created two smaller vertical Orange Gold boxes across the canvas to balance the painting. I wanted to focus on the color Orange to make a strong impression on the canvas. There was a lot of blending and layers of paint blending. I have used a multiple of colors in the process with this blending and layering. The Blue / Bright Aqua Green makes the Orange stand out on this painting. I have used additionally: Blue, Yellow, Cream and White as well with this painting. There are small details in the painting that are hard to pick up with my photographs. The painting can be hung 4 different directions - so there is 2 Vertical hangings and 2 Horizontal hangings. Felt pads included on backside corners. Signed on the backside and Certificate of Authenticity included with the painting 1/1.
*PLEASE note: Lighting will make a huge difference in the mood of this painting-as with any painting. Overhead/Canned/Spot Lighting is the best or indirect Lighting. Never direct Sunlight. Wall colors also will make a difference with a painting. I have taken my photos outdoors with morning Sun light. I have used my iPad Tablet camera to take these photos. * When posting my painting photos I always have the original painting next to me to assure the photos I add match the original painting. I do my best. I never try to enhance the look of my paintings with the photos I post.
