Looking down the path of the woods on an autumn day, I wonder what lies ahead. There is a light among the trees and it sets them ablaze. I know this will not last and so I stop to watch the shifting colors of autumn. As leaves drift down, their familiar autumn scent reminds me... I have been in this place before. Yet everything changes... This impressionistic piece captures a moment in autumn--holding the breath of the season for eternity.
