In this painting, I explore an evening walk along Madrid’s Gran Vía, the moment when the city slowly begins to radiate its inner glow. The familiar architecture rises above the flowing crowd, filled with warmth, rhythm, and continuous movement.

Soft dusk colors merge with glowing windows, shaping a calm harmony within the city’s pulse. The figures below become fleeting impressions — anonymous, yet profoundly human — revealing the quiet vitality of urban life.

Through this work, I reflect on the delicate balance between solitude and togetherness, stillness and motion, that defines the soul of Madrid at twilight.
