Large impressionistic Oil painting of a late Spring afternoon in the forest.
There is an owl flying high amongst the trees, above a carpet of Bluebells which stretches right across the vast forest floor.
The Afternoon sun is shining through the canopy of leaves and this has cast an atmospheric light over the whole scene.
This painting is textured and layered overtime with pallet knife and brush and is painted around the sides so it can be hung without a frame.
